Working with the PTC

integrety issues within the PTC. Use this if you are unsure if the PTC 
might have a hardware issue.  

• 

SWITCH TO AIC MODE: This switches the PTC to AIC mode and 
programs the PTC to come up in AIC mode with any further power up 
event.  

• 

SWITCH TO TOPO MODE: This switches the PTC to Topology Test 
mode and programs the PTC to come up in Topology Test mode with 
any further power up event.  

• 

SWITCH TO KEP MODE: This switches the PTC to Known Endpoint 
(KEP) test mode and programs the PTC to come up in KEP mode with 
any further power up event. The KEP mode will be supported with one 
of the next releases.  

 

The firmware version is also briefly displayed on the four-digit display 
when the PTC powers up (for example, “V123” means version 1.23).
