Using the Test Software for Topology Mode Tests under Windows Working with the PTC

use the window under the menu entry “maintenance” to switch the
PTC to topology mode if necessary.
4 Select the tests you would like to run and press the green run button.
5 Power on the system under test. While the system boots up, the PTC
simulates a certain topology to the BIOS, depending on the current
test. If the system is completely booted and the reboot floppy disk is
inserted, it will automatically reboot for the next test. If not, please
turn of the system to show to the software that the test is over. The
software will then display a “Passed” or “Failed”.
6 After the tests are run, the log files will contain the configuration
accesses and the programmed configuration space. In case of a test
failure the software mentions the root cause in the log files.
Pass / Fail results are displayed per each test.

topology test mode.
