Administering the PTC
The windows version of the software can also be used to administer the
PTC. A USB connection to the PTC is needed for that. This can be used
when the PTC and the administration PC are connected via USB. The tab
“maintenance” in the windows software version leads to the
administering functions.
Please see the above picture for a sample.

GET STATUS: This is used to get and up-to-date status of the PTC. It
also displays firmware and FPGA image versions. These numbers are
intended for debugging, trouble shooting and support purposes.

UPDATE FIRMWARE AND FPGAS: This button will update the
firmware and the FPGA images on the card with the newest images
provided with the software version that is installed. Use this button to
install new software packages loaded from the Agilent website.

PERFORM SELF TEST: This runs a selftest that checks the internal
hardware and software of the PTC to see if everything works ok. It
creates also a high speed link on the PTC itself to check for signal
