
About this User Guide
This user manual is intended for the telephone system with the firmware installed at the time
of shipment. Should the telephone or the telephone system be updated with new firmware
made available from the manufacturer then some sections of the user guide may no longer be
applicable.
The display diagram in this user guide are only partly shown and may differ from the real
display of the DECT 50 handset.

Only use the battery which has been approved for use with the handset (3,7V 1.0Ah).

Only exchange battery of the same type or similar type recommended by the
manufacturer.

The battery will get warm during the charging process, this is normal.

Do not use any other charging device other than the designated charging cradle.

Do not use the handset in the rain, bath tub or handle with wet hands.

Take care that the charging contacts will not get in contact with other conductive material.

In thunderstorms it is recommended to disconnect the unit from the mains supply.

This is a rechargeable product. In day to day use it is normal for the unit to get warm.
Therefore it is advisable not to place the product on antique-, veenered or wooden surfaces.

To clean the product use a damp cloth (not wet) or an antistatic cloth. Never use a dry cloth
as this could staticly charge the unit. Never spray any cleaning agents directly on the
handset or the base unit.

Phone calls (including emergency calls) are only possible if the DECT S0 Base plus and the
telephone system are connected to power. NO calls can be made in case of a power failure.
BATTERIES AND RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES
If your product contains batteries or rechargeable batteries, then these must be disposed of at
designated collection points.
