Function test
Verify that the probe is in clean ambient air (for example, room air, not pol-
luted by flue gas).
1. Fix the cooled probe in a suitable device (for example, a vise).
2. Connect the probe to the control unit via the connector.
3. Switch on the mains voltage via the on-site mains fuse.
- The display shows the number of switch-on cycles and the switch-on
duration.
- The display shows

- The probe heats up.
- After approximately 60 seconds, the display shows the first measured
values.
- When the measured value displayed is approximately 21 % by volume,
breathe on the probe tip from a distance of approximately 10 cm
- When you breathe on it, the measured value is in a range from
15 ... 18 % by volume.
- If the value is not within this range, there is a malfunction.
4. Disconnect the probe from the control unit.
5. Allow the probe to cool down.
