1.
Select the appropriate compression rings and stiffeners.
2.
Lubricate the threads of the compression screws and the com-
pression rings with oil immediately prior to installation..
3.
Place the compression rings into the G sockets of KAV.
4.
Screw in the compression screws and slightly tighten them by
hand.
5.
Cut the pipes of the suction line to length perpendicularly and
debur them. Use the enclosed stiffeners in the case of soft or
semi-hard copper pipes. Push the pipes through the compres-
sion screw and the compression ring into the G sockets, all the
way to the stop.
6.
Tighten the compression screws with a 17/21 open end span-
ner.
