Input (TN5250e)
The Input tab allows you to define specific parameters that affect the appearance of the printed page.
Note:
If you
are using Host Print Transform (see Advanced), the Input settings do not apply.

IP supports a number of different Code Pages. The Code Page selected here should be the same as that
configured on the AS/400 for the specific device. Ignore the Code Page
Edit
button, since Code Page editing is
not supported in the 7375.
Page Layout
Set the Default Page layout. Parameters are:
•
Page Orientation
. Select from Portrait, Landscape, and COR (Computer Output Reduction).
Note:
If you are
using an impact dot-matrix printer,
Portrait
is recommended.

Automatic Page Orientation. This option is enabled by Default.
Note:
If you are using an impact dot-matrix
printer, it is recommended that this be
Disabled
.
•
COR Line Spacing Reduction.
This feature solves the problem of nonprintable margin area on the printer.
Note:
It is recommended that this feature be used only with laser printers.
•
COR Override
. This function corresponds to the IBM 3812 configuration parameter and defines that a job
with draft quality is printed in COR.
Overrides
If you wish to override the host system output settings, you can do so here.
Note:
If you are using an impact dot-matrix printer, it is recommended that you set Print Quality to
Force Draft
