Mark the bottom center of the cowl as shown.

Align the center of the template with the cen-
ter of the cowl bottom as shown.
13.
Slide the template aft so that the line on the
template is aligned with the aft edge of the
cowl. Ensure the centerlines are still aligned.
Tape the template in place on the bottom of
the cowl.
14.
Cut relief slots around the cowl air intake to
allow the template to lay flat on the surface of
the forward part of the cowl.
