THE POWER SUPPLY FOR
THE AIR CONDITIONER MUST
BE 230 VOLT SINGLE PHASE
Using other voltages the air conditio-
ner may be seriously damaged.
The supply voltage must always range
between –10 and +10% of the voltage
marked on the data plate.
DO NOT INSERT OBJECT
IN THE AIR DELIVERY
Do not insert any object in the
air delivery vents (both indoor
and outdoor units).
This might cause injuries to the peo-
ple and damages to the fan.
DO NOT PULL THE FEEDING CABLE
It is very dangerous to pull, crush or nail the feeding
cable.
A damaged cable may cause
short circuits and damages to
the people.
DO NOT EXPOSE THE INDOOR UNIT
TO DIRECT SUN RAYS
The indoor unit, if exposed to direct sun rays, may work badly
(sun light interferes
with the remote con-
trol).
Besides, the indoor
unit housing may blea-
ch.
To avoid wastes and to get the
best comfort (even temperature
throughout the room) keep doors
and windows closed and reduce the sun light with courtains or
other means.
DO NOT USE
THE AIR CONDITIO-
NER
IN A WRONG WAY
The air conditioner must not be used
to rise animals.
USE PROPER FUSES
The feeding cable must be provided
with a magnetothermic switch or a
fused insulator with suitable fuses.
Check with your technician.
VENTILATE THE ROOM
Ventilate periodically the room
where the air conditioner is
installed, specially if many people
are normally in the room or if
gas appliances or smell sour-
ces are in the room.
REGULATE
THE TEMPERATURE PROPERLY
The room temperature must be set to give the
best comfort to the people present in the room, in
particular old, young and sick people.
Differences of more than 7 °C between room and
ambient temperature in summertime should also
be avoided for physical comfort and for electric
consumption too.
USE THE REMOTE CONTROL
TO SWITCH ON AND OFF
THE AIR CONDITIONER
Do not unplug the feeding cable to
switch off the air conditioner.
This operation, when repeated
often, may damage the cable, the plug and
the socket and become dangerous for the
people.
ADJUST
THE AIR FLOW
DIRECTION
The air leaving the air conditioner
should not rush directly against
the people in the room.
In fact, although it comes out
at a higher temperature it might
create unpleasant sensations of
coldness.
Only the angle of the vertical louvers must be adjusted manually.
For the horizontal air deflector, use the
key on the remote
control.
USE THE TIMER
Using the timer, particularly at
night, is good to obtain the
best comfort saving energy at
the same time.
During the day the timer
makes the air conditioner
work in such a way to give the
required conditions by the
time required, avoiding use-
less lost of time and energy con-
sumption.
