WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE AUTOMATIC OPERATION MODE IS SELECTED

A different program can be selected by pressing the MODE key.

In AUTOMATIC (
) the fan speed is changed automatically depending to the room temperature.
When running at the other speeds, the fan speed remains constant (at the speed set).

Each time the program is changed through the MODE key, all the parameters are reset.
If, for example, the unit is switched from automatic to cooling, the conditioner starts a cooling cycle.
In some cases, the compressor stops for approximately 3 minutes.
OPERATION OF THE AIR CONDITIONER
When the unit is started with all indicators displaied on AUTO, the microprocessor selects the operation mode, the room temperature
and the fan speed depending on the initial room temperature (see table).

SETTING OF AUTOMATIC MODE

Check if the feeding cable is plugged in the 230 V - 1 - 50 Hz socket.

Push the safety switch to feed the unit.

PRESS THE MODE KEY (PROGRAMS)
Press the MODE key repeatedly until the
symbol appears.
The speed is set to AUTOMATIC.

PRESS THE " ON/OFF " KEY
The conditioner starts running and the red led lights up.

PRESS THE FAN KEY
Initially the fan is set to automatic.
Use the FAN key to select high
, medium
or low
speed.

ADJUST THE ANGLE OF THE AIR DEFLECTOR
For optimum air distribution, adjust the horizontal air deflector and the vertical louvers so
that the air flow is not thrown against the people.
The angle of the vertical louvers must be adjusted manually before starting the motor-dri-
ven air deflector.
The air deflector (horizontal) must never be adjusted manually.
To start or stop it press the
key.

ADJUST THE TEMPERATURE
If the temperature is unsatisfactory, after at least one hour operation,
it can be increased or decreased:
the temperature set can be increased by 1 to 2 degrees by means of the
key;
the temperature set can be lowered by 1 to 2 degrees by means of the
key.
Reference bars appear on the display as shown in the adjacent figure.
PRESS THE " ON/OFF " KEY
to switch off the air conditioner.
The red light on the indoor unit goes off.
All the settings are stored in the memory (of the remote control).
