5.7 Condensate outlet
The dehumidifiers DH 18 are provided with water collecting bucket (4 ltr) and
connection for hose 12 mm.
The water tank (refer to 5.1 – Pos. 4) is placed below the air inlet grit (Abs. 5.1 –
Pos. 3).
By a float mechanism the dryer swiches
off automatically when the tank is full. The
red neon lights up.
To remove the tank, seize with both hands
into the lateral case hollows and pull the
tank forward from the dryer.
In the tank is above a black turn-up grasp,
with whose you can carry the tank
comfortably.
The dyer switches off with withdrawal of
the tank and switches on automatically, if
the empty tank is placed back into the
equipment. Make sure that the carrying
handle is folded correctly back into the
tank.
Optionally a hose 12 mm can be
installed, in order to lead the
condensate directly into a discharge.
Remove the stopper at the back of the
dryer (refer to 5.1 – Pos. 11) and
attach at the open connecting pieces
a hose 12 mm.
Guide the hose with slope of the
device into the drain away (at least 5
cm slope per meters).
Make sure that the hose is fixed at
both ends.
Put the taken stopper into the opening
left above in the bucket compartment.
(see sketch)
ATTENTION:
If you remove the drain hose, the hose connector must be locked again with the
stopper!
Make sure that the condensate can always be handled safely.
