The presentation of date and time of incoming messages is independent of that
of the call log.
If you do not set the day and time before taking the unit into use, the incom-
ing messages will have no time stamp or a wrong one.

The phone repeats the newly programmed day and time setting.
8.16 Remote Control
You can remote control your answering machine with a DTMF phone. If the
phone you are using is not a DTMF phone, you have to use a beeper (option).
1.
Dial your telephone number.
2.
The answering machine answers your call, you will hear the outgoing mes-
sage followed by a beep.
3.
Slowly dial your security code (default 321 or your own).
4.
You will hear two confirmation beep tones.
5.
Slowly enter the control code corresponding with the wanted function.
6.
After executing the command, you will hear a beep and the answering
machine will wait for another control code.
NOTE:
You have 10 seconds to enter your security code, otherwise the answer-
ing machine will automatically break the communication.
