5.2 RS-232 INTERFACE

This serial communication interface offers to the operator the essential monitoring and control of
the SSPB using any PC terminal software. An IBM compatible personal computer can be
connected to this port. The interface uses a 6-pin circular connector mounted on the SSPB
enclosure. The type of mounting connector is listed in

TABLE 5

at page 20 and the location is

shown in

Figure 3

at page 20. The pin assignment for this interface is shown in

TABLE 7
