Installing the Blades
After performing the Chuck Flatness test, the blades should be mounted
onto the spindles, as described in the following procedure.
To install blades:
1.
In the application, from the Main Menu, press
Dice
; the Dice window
appears.
2.
Press the
Spindle
button and select
Change Blade
; the spindle
stops rotating and moves automatically to the Blade Change position,
enabling easy access to the blades. In the application, the Change
Blade wizard appears in the Step 1 of 2: Define Blade window.

Note:
Change Blade is a two-step procedure. Press Next to move to the next
step and then press Finish to save the changes.
Note:
When the blade type is defined as hubless, the Flange diameter field is
activated.
Note:
The new exposure value is displayed after the process height is
completed.
3.
Prepare the blades for installation:
a.
Pull up the release ring.
b.
Place the blade holder over the new blade (blade must be face up).
c.
Release the release ring.
d.
Repeat all steps for the second blade.
4.
Mount the new blades onto the spindles:
