Driver Installation

Driver Installation on Windows NT

Before installing the LAN driver on Windows NT, copy the LAN
driver in the CD to a floppy diskette. Insert a new disk into drive A,
then type the following batch command under DOS environment
to copy the relative NT drivers:

X:\CHIPDRV\LAN\100PDISK\Makedisk\Makedisk NT

where

X:

is the CD-ROM drive.

Windows NT may prompt the user to install a LAN driver from its
own library of drivers. It is recommended that the user manually
updates the LAN, which can be found on the ADLINK CD to
ensure compatibility. After installing Windows NT, please update
to the new drivers by following the instructions below:

1. From

Control Panel

, double-click the

Network

icon, a

Network Configuration window will pop up, click

Yes

2. In Network Setup Wizard, click

Next>

Select From

List…

button.

3. Insert a LAN driver floppy diskette into A drive and click

Have Disk

4. In the dialog box of

Insert Disk window

5. A

Select OEM Option

window pops up, click

OK

6. Select necessary Network Protocols, click

Next>

.

7. Select necessary Network Services, click

Next>

8. Click

Next>

until Windows NT Setup dialog box pops up.

Type in

D:\i386

in the dialog box, then insert the original

Windows NT CD, click

Continue

.

9. Click

OK

until setup is complete.

10.Restart the computer.
