The LMP software suite, a dedicated board management and control plane module, includes LMP
U-boot, Open Linux OS, Broadcom Switch software and IPMI software. All functional modules other
than U-boot come as part of the LMP OS image.

The IPMI software suite, a chassis management module, includes the vendor’s bootloader, OS and
IPMI package.
