Reading and storing the user manual
This user manual is part of the platform scale PFW2 (hereinafter referred to as
the “scale”). It contains important information about initial use and handling.
Read the user manual carefully, especially the safety instructions, before you
begin using the scale. Failure to heed this user manual may cause severe injury or dam-
age to the appliance.
The user manual is based on the standards and rules in force in the European Union.
When abroad, you must also observe country-specific guidelines and laws.
Store the user manual for future use. Should you give the scale to another person, it is
vital that you also pass on this user manual.
Proper use
The scale is designed solely for weighing items. It is intended for commercial use only.
The scale is intended for use as a non-automatic scale. This means that items to be
weighed must be manually placed in the centre of the weighing platform. The reading
can be taken once the weight value has stabilised.
Only use the scale as described in this user manual. Any other use is deemed improper
and may result in damage to property or even personal injury. The manufacturer or ven-
dor accepts no liability for damage caused by improper or incorrect use.
