3.0 BACKLIGHT FUNCTION
a. Press the LIGHT key. The display will show “bl.1 " which means “Auto backlight”
mode. When the weight is over 10 scale divisions or any of the keys are pressed,
the backlight will be effective. When the weight is zero for about 8 seconds, the
backlight will go off automatically.
b. Press the LIGHT key again. The display will show “bl.2” which means the backlight
will always be on.
c. Press the LIGHT key once. The display will show “bl.3” which means the backlight
will be turned off.
4.0 AUTO CALIBRATION
Press the ENTER key for about 3 seconds. The display will show the “Calibration
Weight Value”. Put the same weight on the platform. When the display is stable the
scale will calibrate. Verify the calibration by removing the mass and checking it again.
In some situations the calibration may not be possible and an error message will be
shown. In this case simply remove the weight and press the zero button to clear the
error. Then try recalibrating again.
5.0 ERROR MESSAGE
During self test the scale verifies operation and the load cell.
Error messages are:
“
E2” A/D counts are too high for zero
“- - - - - -“
Scale is below zero
“- - OL- -“
Scale is overloaded
These messages may also be shown if the load cell protection is not removed, the pan
is not installed correctly or the environment is not suitable.
