Scanning options
l
Read power
: Set how much power the RFID scanner uses when reading tags; select the
required value from the list (from 10dB to 30dB). The default is 20dB. The higher the power
usage, the greater the reading range, and the greater the battery power comsumption.
l
Protocols
: Select the tag types you want to read. Currently you can choose from EPC Gen 2
(Electronic Product Code) and AEI (Automatic equipment identification). You can select one or
both; ACURA recommends that you only select the tag types you will be reading.
l
Multitag Mode
: When selected, the scanner reads tags until it is manually stopped (this is the
default setting). To scan only one tag and then stop scanning, deselect this option.
