Before connecting the machine to the battery check the operating switch -N- in the OFF position.
Then proceed as follows:
Link the connector positioned at the bottom of the pole -D- to the connector -E- positioned at
the end of the extension cable -S- and screw it.
Insert the other connector -F- of the long cable S into the socket -G- on the electronic box -B-.
Connect the electronic box -B- to the battery,12-24V, through the 2 nippers, the red one on the
positive (+) and the black one on the negative (-).
The battery, not provided, must never be connected to the battery charger while used.
Now you can switch ON (-N) and start operating the machine.
Maximum tension on the electronic circuit 29V.
Over this vale the circuit could be damaged.
Minimum tension from the battery 8V.

The machine power supply is provided by a lead acid accumulator – 12V battery - 70÷80Ah (not
included) that, through a 10m long power cable with clamps for the connection to the battery, can give
power directly to the motor of the machine. Since there is no adjustment of the supply voltage, the motor
rotation speed is maximum when the battery is charged, and decreases slightly while the battery is
discharging. This situation is normal. When the tines rotating speed reduces intensely, you have to switch
off the machine and charge the battery. It is very important to connect the clamps of the cable to the
battery when the switch is off, to avoid the machine starts working suddenly.
Always turn off the switch every time you need to stop the machine or disconnect a cable. In case of
overloading, with excessive effort of the head among the branches, the motor stops automatically in
order to protect all the parts of the machine. Waiting for a few minutes, the machine re-start working
automatically. If such a security system activates frequently, it means that the impact of the machine
with the tree branches is too violent and, therefore, it is necessary to use the harvester with more
regularity.
