8. Customer support
When purchasing this system, you undertake to observe the utilisation
procedures specified in the manufacturer's user guide. It is thus essential to be
familiar with your PC Tablet User Guide, and with the present manual, before at-
tempting to use your diagnostic system.
8.1 Telephone and technical support
Contact technical support to obtain an initial assessment of the cause of a problem.
Depending on the problem identified, support will provide an initial technical
diagnostic, differentiating between operating errors and an actual hardware failure.
Support will then decide whether your diagnostic system is covered by the terms of
the guarantee.

The telephone support is not a general information technology consulting
service and, notably, does not include the following:
•Technical assistance concerning the installation or utilisation of peripherals
other than those recommended by ACTIA and/or AUTOMOBILES CITROËN (for
example, installing a printer or modem that is not in the ACTIA catalogue).
•Technical assistance concerning the installation or utilisation of software not
distributed by ACTIA and/or AUTOMOBILES CITROËN.
