1.4.3 The MAP mode
The mode is used for data collection on the
inspected object. The data are saved automat-
ically along with current system settings. The
user can visually control the B-Scans images
generated on the basis of the received data.
The mode should be used after confirming
the correctness of the received images in the
REVIEW mode.
On the screen only the images of the
B-Scans received in the current position of the
antenna array will displayed. The received sig-
nals and system settings will be automatically
recorded in the memory.
To switch to the MAP mode from the RE-
VIEW mode, press the key.
After the mode is turned on, a window with
graphical display of the results of the MAP mode
similar to the window of the REVIEW mode is
displayed. Here the B Scan images as well as
the control panel of the MAP mode are displayed
(Figure 25).
