Regular testing, inspection and maintenance
ACO recommends that you take out a maintenance agreement. This ensures proper
and on-schedule completion of the maintenance work by ACO product specialists,

qualifications“.
Enter the tests, inspections, maintenance work and test results in the operating log:
■
Inspections by the operator company
■
Sampling
■
Measurement: Water consumption, pH value and temperature
■
Maintenance and general inspections
■
Disposal (draining and cleaning)
IMPORTANT
If defects are found during the tests or inspections, the grease separator
must not be put back into service until these defects have been corrected.
5.1 Daily checks
Checks by the operator company:
■
Check grease separator for external damage.
■
Remove any dirt or contamination in the coarse trap of the inlet pipe (if installed).
5.2 Weekly checks
Checks by the operator company:
■
Check the grease separator, connections, mechanical and electrical components for
external damage.
■
Check the operating processes: Grease and sludge draw-off, heating, running of the
agitating device and freshwater supply.
■
Filling device: Check the water trap in the odour trap.
■
If applicable, check the air gap of the filling equipment to EN 1717.
■
Check and clean the sampling equipment.
