2.5 Battery connection:
The battery is already connected. If a battery exchange is required, this
may only be carried out by an electrician. The battery has two connec-
tions which may not be mixed up!
2.6 Extension set:
If the supplied cables and hoses are too short (standard length
5 m), the cable extension set (10 m), art. no. 620438, can be
ordered. However, a total length of 15 m should not be excee-
ded as otherwise functionality can no longer be guaranteed.

The fault transmitter contact closes in case
of a fault signal. During configuration of the
contacts care has to be taken that a max.
current of 500 mA is not exceeded. In addi-
tion, only pure Ohm resistive loads may be
connected. Signalling devices, PCs, tele-
phones and alarm devices can be connected
to the contacts.
2.7 Switch-on process:
The ACO QUATRIX-K automatic anti-flood protection system must
be carried over in a definite condition by the control unit. This
is achieved by the switch-on process (insert mains connection).
An initialisation is always carried out (fig. 29)
when the control is switched on from a currentless condition
by double-pressing the system reset button.
Initialisation is done in such a way that the valve is completely
closed at first and then re-opened. When reaching the open posi-
tion, initialisation is finished and control passes into automatic
operation (green diode lights).

trical supply!
2.9 Resetting the control
Isolate from mains electrical supply. By pressing the system
reset button and the control button at the same time for 5
seconds, the control appliance is reset to works settings, i. e.
is carried over in the currentless condition.
If both buttons are operated at the same time for 5 seconds, all
light-emitting diodes flash simultaneously before the appliance swit-
ches off.
