Chapter 3

Removing the FDD

1.

To remove the FDD, first push the FDD hot swap module release button as shown, then remove the FDD 
hot swap module from the system.

2.

Press the two latches downward by bladed screw driver carefully.

3.

Rotate the FDD and move the lower case forward, then remove the it from the FDD module.

4.

Remove the five screws as shown, then remove the FDD from the FDD frame.
