5.1.4
The instrument will show the phrase “Connect a 100 Ohm
Standard Resistor and Press Enter” to indicate that a 100Ω
standard resistor must be connected to sensor1 (S1) terminals as
Figure3. Users can exit the calibration by pressing
MENU
key to go
back to the main menu (*CALIBRATION MENU*).
5.1.5
After the probe is correctly connected, press
key to start the
calibration. The instrument will display “Waiting…” while the
resistance is calibrated. When the process is finished, the screen
will display the result as seen below:
* 100 Ohm CALIBRATION
100.0238
Rt = 111.0000 OHM
Menu= Exit <^v>=Adj
100R Rs = OHM
5.1.6
To calibrate the instrument, users must adjust the value
(100.0238 as shown above) to match the standard resistor’s
resistance. For example, if the resistance of the standard resistor
is 100.0038 ohm, users can move the underline cursor to the
desired position using
and
keys, and users can adjust the
value by using
and
keys. The adjusted result will appear
like the picture below:
* 100 Ohm CALIBRATION
100.0038
Rt = 100.0038 OHM
Menu= Exit <^v>=Adj
100R Rs = OHM
