Advice Option settings

Snack Size …

is the amount of carbohydrates that is not to
be counted as a regular meal. A bolus will be
recommended but no Meal Rise is triggered.

Acting Time …

is the time during which a bolus is effective.
The Acting Time starts afresh for each new
bolus.

Offset Time …

is the expected time taken for your bG level to
fall after you inject a bolus. The Offset Time starts
afresh for each new bolus.

Meal Rise …

is an increase in your bG level that is acceptable
after a meal. After a meal, the Meal Rise is
added to your bG target. After a meal, the bG
target value plus the Meal rise value is accepted
without a correction bolus, as long as Acting
time and Offset time are effective (see the
explanations below).
