Changing the Battery

When the battery symbol appears on the 

display for the first time, the battery is 

almost empty. You can perform approx. 50 

more tests with the battery. Change the 

battery as soon as possible.

WARNING

Keep new and used batteries away from 

children. See the warning in the 

Introduction of this User’s Manual for 

additional information.

You need 1 battery type CR2032. 
Remove the used battery right before 

inserting the new battery into the meter so 

that the time and date settings are not lost.

Push the locking 

catch downwards 

and remove the 

battery door.

Remove the used 

battery.

Place the new 

battery in the battery 

compartment, with 

the (

+

) side facing 

up.

Place the battery 

door back on again. 

Press the battery 

door closed.

WARNING

Never throw batteries into a fire.
The batteries may explode.

Discard used batteries according to local 

environmental regulations.
