SELF-WATERING
USING THE WICK LINES
Thread the wick lines through the drain plate's
holes. Refer to the chart below. Make sure that the
ends of the wick lines reach the basin floor.
You may reduce the amount of water being fed by
using only one wick line. You may also increase the
amount of water being fed by using more wick lines
and threading them diagonally.
To keep the wick lines from fraying, you may light
the ends to fuse the threads together.
EXERCISE CAUTION when lighting wick line ends, as improper
use of lighters and other sources of heat can cause severe injuries.
