7.3 For all models
7.3.1
Checking the key switch
-
Use the continuity measurement of your
multimeter to check that the contacts (NO) located
behind the switch close one after the other when
the key is turned first in one direction and then in
the other.
-
On the screw terminals , -, 1, 2, 3, 4.
-
Measure 24 V DC between the "+" and "-".
-
Measure 24 V DC between the 3 and the 4.
-
Measure 24 V DC between the 3 and the 1 when
the key is turned in one direction.
-
Measure 24 V DC between the 3 and the 2 when
the key is turned in the other direction.
7.3.2
Direct motor check
-
Take 2 screw terminals
-
Connect the + 24 V DC to one screw terminal and
the "-" (0) to the 2
nd
screw terminal.
-
Fixing the cover to the axis The direction of polarity
is important.
-
Place the blue wire in contact with the red wire
(+ 24 V): the motor should turn in one direction.
-
Remove the blue wire
-
Place the brown wire in contact with the red wire
(+ 24 V): the motor should turn in the other direction.
-
Reversing the blue and brown wires reverses the
motor rotation direction.
-
To make sure that the motor is not at the limit
switch stop, turn the adjustment screws of the end
of run clockwise towards the + indication.
-
If, after these tests, the motor will still not run, this
indicates a motor defect. This can be the result
of a power surge due to a thunder storm, a faulty
connection, or a defective component. Replace it
or request its return to AS POOL for analysis.
7.3.3
Uncoupling motor
-
Switch off the box.
-
Block the rotation of the roller shaft while keeping
the slats rolled on it.
-
Remove the cover on the motor side (see § 3.6).
Disconnect all the motor cable wires so as to slide
it completely towards the roller shaft and remove
the locking screw present in the white Technyl
bearing.
-
Manually accompany the unrolling of the cover,
making sure that the motor cable does not get
entangled.
-
Lock the safety mechanisms.
When commissioning the roller, a new adjustment
of the motor limit switches will be needed.
7.3.4
Checking the sensor
-
Use the continuity measurement on your
multimeter to check that the contact opens and
closes when it is pushed.
-
If nothing happens the sensor is defective. It must
be replaced.
8. Checks
Check the following points relating to the NF P 90-308
standard and check that the cover operates correctly:
-
When turning the key switch for the cover, the entire
pool is visible and check that there are no bathers
in the pool when closing the cover. The unrolling
operation stops when the key is released. The key can
be removed from the control box.
-
The cover rolls and unrolls correctly.
-
The safety mechanisms are easily handled for
the recommended water levels and are sufficient
(number and position). Check that they are locked
when the installation is complete.
-
The gaps along the length between the cover slats
and the pool wall are less than 7 cm and the cover
does not rub "abnormally" against the wall.
-
The voltage powering the cover is less than 30 V DC.
-
The limit switches are operational.
-
The site is cleaned after installation of the cover and
the packaging and waste is removed.
-
"Waste Electric and Electronic Equipment" (WEEE)
is the subject of specific collection. It should not be
disposed of with your unsorted household waste
.
9. Reception of the cover by
the end user
-
The installer explains the operation of the ABRIBLUE
cover to the end user and informs him/her of the
safety, usage, upkeep and winterisation advice.
-
They give them the cover instructions: '"Installation
instructions" and "Safety instructions and user guide
for the automatic cover".
-
They demonstrate the use of the cover and explain it
functional limits.
-
The installer and end user fill in and sign the
guarantee form attesting to the compliance of the
installation, the reception of the documents for the
cover and the information given to the end user
featured in the cover safety instructions.
