11.6.3 16-bit Capture Mode
The 16-bit timer 1/2 capture mode is set by TnMS[1:0]
as ‘01’. The clock source can use the internal/external clock.
Basically, it has the same function as the 16-bit timer/counter mode and the interrupt occurs when TnCNTH/TnCNTL is
equal to TnADRH/TnADRL. The TnCNTH, TnCNTL values are automatically cleared by match signal. It can be also
cleared by software (TnCC).
This timer interrupt in capture mode is very useful when the pulse width of captured signal is wider than the maximum
period of timer.
The capture result is loaded into TnBDRH/TnBDRL.
According to EIPOL1 registers setting, the external interrupt EINT11/EINT12 function is chosen. Of course, the
EINT11/EINT12 pin must be set as an input port.
