5.1 Removing filters
Before removing the grease filters, switch
off the extractor and wait 2 minutes to al-
low the motor to stop running.
If your extractor has perimeter extraction,
first open the perimeter extraction panel.
Pull on the grip to tip the filter out of the
extractor. To avoid damage to other objects,
be careful to prevent the filter from falling.
If a magnetic strip filter is equipped with an
optional charcoal filter, the filter combina-
tion is secured by a detachable chain.
Filters may be fitted with cover plates to
improve extraction efficiency. Note that the
filters must be replaced in their original
positions to ensure correct extractor
operation.

If the extractor is fitted with PA filters, clean
the contact surfaces of the magnetic strip
before replacing the filter.
Replace the filters and then close the
perimeter extraction panel.
