4.3.1 Programming the electronic
remote control
EB200 / EB290
The following instructions apply to all
remote control units:
1. Ensure that the extractor is connected to
the mains.
2. Open the battery compartment of the
remote control. Ten DIP switches are
located at the rear of this compartment.
3. They control the operating frequency of
the remote control unit.
4. If a remote control unit unintentionally
operates more than one electronic circuit
board, the DIP switches in the individual re-
mote control units must be set differently to
make the remote control units operate on
different frequencies.

Perform steps 1 to 3 to program the unit
1. Change the position of one of the DIP
switches (1–10) in the remote control.
Perform steps 2 & 3 to synchronise the
unit
2. Press and hold the – and + buttons on
the extractor at the same time until an LED
on the display starts blinking. [A]
3. Then press the lighting button on the re-
mote control within 10 seconds
once to
save the setting.

Perform steps 1 to 3 to program the unit
1. Change the position of one of the DIP
switches (1–10) in the remote control.
Perform steps 2 & 3 to synchronise the
unit
2. Press and hold the on/off button on the
extractor within 10 seconds until an LED on
the display starts blinking. [A]
3. Then press the lighting button on the re-
mote control
once to save the setting.
Now you can use the remote control unit to
operate the extractor.
