9 Maintenance and cleaning
9.1 Cleaning the cable assembly

Disconnect the cable assembly
from the machine and lay it down
straight.

Unscrew the nut.

Pull the liner
or PA liner
out of the wire conduit and replace if
necessary.

Remove wear parts from the torch neck
5
Clean the wire conduit from both sides with compressed air.
6
Mount the cleaned or replaced wear parts in the reverse order.

Remount the liner
or PA liner

8
Re-attach the cable assembly
NOTICE
• The specified maintenance intervals are standard values and refer to
single-shift operation.
• Maintenance and cleaning work must only be carried out by qualified
personnel (in Germany, see TRBS 1203).
• Check the coolant hoses, seals and connectors for damage or leaks and
replace if necessary.
• Always wear your personal protective equipment when performing
maintenance and cleaning work.
• Remove any adhering weld spatter.
• Ensure that all threaded fittings are tight.
WARNING
Risk of injury
Serious injuries can be caused by parts swirling around.
• When cleaning the wire guide with compressed air, wear suitable
protective clothing, in particular safety goggles.
NOTICE
• Replace any damaged, deformed or worn parts.
