Possible residual risks
The following risks can arise from a SureWave SFC system and pose a
hazard to people. These risks must therefore be considered by the
system integrator and/or the plant owner when assessing the risks of
the machinery.
The SFC is a high energy power conversion machine. Components may be dislodged or dam-
aged during transport, or when being installed, commissioned, operated or serviced, due to, for
example:

Damage during transport,
•
I
ncorrectly assembled or installed equipment,
•
Wrongly connected cables,
•
External influence on, or damage to the equipment,
•
Wrong parameter settings,
•
Operation of the equipment outside the scope of the specifications,
•
Software errors,
•
Faulty hardware

Hazardous touch voltages can be present on SureWave SFC system components caused by, for
example:
•
Operation of the equipment outside the scope of the specifications,
•
External influence on, or damage to the equipment,
•
Induced voltages by external equipment,
•
Condensation on equipment components or pollution,
•
Faulty hardware,
•
The used of inappropriate tools during servicing,
For all of the above reasons, always operate with all side and rear panels in place and all doors
shut and latched
