8.4 Simulating the signals and changing the signal values

Simulating the signals

A signal can be simulated.

Note

You cannot simulate a signal if its access level is set to

Read Only

Use the following procedure to simulate a signal:

1 On the start screen, tap

I/O

, and then select

Signals

from the menu.

2 Use the

Filter

list or use the search box to navigate to a particular signal.

3 Tap on the

Simulate

button available for the signal.

The signal is changed to a simulated signal.

Note

Once a signal is simulated the

Remove Simulation

button is displayed for

the signal.

Note

If there is a cross connection created between two signals, changing the value
of one signal automatically changes the value of the corresponding cross
connected signal.
