ehavior of a system with leakage
If the voltage measured between one of the two poles and ground does not tend to 0V and
stabilizes on a value, there is a ground leakage from the photovoltaic module.

easuring the insulation resistance of the PV module
To measure the insulation resistance of the photovoltaic module compared to ground, the two poles of the PV
generator must be short-circuited (using a suitably sized selector), and verify that the chassis of the module
itself is referred to ground (of the inverter).
Once the short-circuit has been made, measure the insulation resistance (Riso) using a megohmmeter posi-
tioned between the two shorted poles and ground (of the inverter).
