nstalling the AC trunk end cap
The unused ends of the AC-trunk cable must be terminated; the following is necessary for
properly installing the cap:
‡
Fit the ring nut and gasket around the cross section of the cable to terminate.
‡
Strip 18-25 mm/0.7in – 1in of the external insulation and separate each conductor.
‡
Insert the conductors into the recesses inside the cap to seal them.
‡
Insert the gasket into the cap with slight pressure.
‡
Screw the ring nut to apply the correct pressure on the gasket (max.2.45Nm/1.81 ft-lbs).
‡
Secure the section of the terminated cable to the frame structure with cable ties.

se of the AC trunk unlock tool
The AC trunk unlock tool must be used to disconnect the AC connector from the MICRO in-
verter or to remove the AC trunk plug cap from the connectors on the AC trunk cable.
The tool is used to release the two retaining clips on the connectors of the AC trunk cables.
The disconnection or cap removal can be performed in three simple steps:
