Filling, oil, axis 5

The procedure below details how to change the oil in gearbox, axis 5.

When using the oil exchange equipment, follow the instructions enclosed with the kit. Art.

no. for the kit is specified in

Required equipment on page 169

For Foundry Prime robots: Do not turn off the air
pressure to motors and SMB.

4. Drain the oil from the gearbox by opening the

oil

plug, draining.

Remove the

oil plug, filling

in order to drain the oil

quicker!
