4 Service Box configuration
4.1 General Configuration
Configuring the Service Box
Note
Configure a Service Box and get additional information for troubleshooting
through web pages.
The following procedure provides information about configuring the Network Service
Box on local network with internet access and advanced configuration information
for 3G/WiFi boxes:

Connect the PC to the box through the ex-
ternal Controller Service Port. Connect a PC to the LAN port of the Net-
work Service Box. 1
If the box is yet to be installed in the Control-
ler, use the Port 3.
The IP address is fixed and no gateway set-
ting is required. Configure the IP address of the PC as
192.168.125.84 and Subnet mask as
255.255.255.0 .

Verify that this range of IP address is access-
ible as local address, if the proxy setting is
enabled in the browser. Open http://192.168.125.83 . 3
When connected, a login window is dis-
played.
After successful validation, the web page is
displayed.
Note
Wait for a minute and refresh the page
manually if,
• the web pages are slow to refresh
after a startup or reboot of the Net-
work Service Box .
• the web pages display a red message
indicating that the initialization is not
yet finished.
Type config as both user login and
password.
