8.4 Climbing - upstairs

i

NOTE - Observe the safety instructions in Chapter 8!

Set in neutral position.

» Climbers have to be retract-

ed entirely.

Tilt the c-max U1 and keep it

balanced.

Drive backwards to the step

all the way.

Go 2-3 steps up.

Press UP/DOWN switch di-

rection UP.

» If the single step mode is

activated, press and hold the

UP/DOWN switch until c-max

U1 stops independently.

c-max U1 climbs up.

Repeat process from Fig-

ure 3.

Climbing upstairs - spiral staircases

To climb on spiral staircases you have to follow the same steps

referred to above in Chapter 8.4.

Please note:

The c-max U1 must be repeatedly aligned with

the spiral staircase during the climbing process, so that both

wheels are always in line with the edge of the step to be climbed

next.

Manufacturer’s recommendation:

Activate single step mode.

DANGER!

Compare the conditions of

the spiral staircases to the

technical data in Chapter 4.4!

Never use the c-max on stairs

that are not suitable pursuant

to the technical data. Non-

observance can lead to fall-

ing down the stairs!
