6 Start-up

NOTE - Store c-max U1 in a frost-free environment for at least one hour prior to start-up

to avoid malfunctions.

NOTE - Wait a few seconds after turning on before you press the UP/DOWN switch!

5.3 Arm rests

DANGER - The arm rests must not be loaded unevenly as there is a risk of tipping!

DANGER - Do not attach any objects (such as bags) to the arm rests! Risk of tipping!

WARNING - Never sit on the arm rests or use as a carry handle, as these are not

designed for this purpose!

WARNING - When using the c-max U1, the occupant’s arms must not protrude beyond the

arm rests!

CAUTION - Special care must be taken at the pinch point on the swivel part to avoid injuries

when swivelling the arm rests!

NOTE - The arm rests must not be loaded with more than 90 kg per side.

Insert arm rests on both

sides.

Arm rests function as side confinements and may be used as an arm support.

Please always make sure

that the stop bolts snap into
their appropriate notches.

Repeat the steps from Chapter 5 in reverse order to remove the arm rests.
