Configuring Symmetric UDP Signaling Using Configuration Files
You use the following parameter to configure symmetric UDP signaling in the
configuration files:
sip symmetric udp signaling

Description
Allows you to enable or disable the phone to use port 5060 to send SIP
UDP messages. The value “
1
” (which is the default) enables the phone
to use port 5060. The value “
0
” (zero) disables the phone from using
port 5060 and allows the phone to choose a random port to send SIP
UDP messages.
