OPERATION
Temperature Adjustment/Se ng the Temperature
With the installa on steps completed, you may adjust the water heater’s temperature se ng if desired. The water temperature
set point is factory set to 120°F (49°C). The temperature set point may be increased or decreased in increments by simply
pressing the “UP” bu on or the “DOWN” bu on. To set the water heater to a temperature above 125°F (52°C), follow the
procedure below.

1 Turn on the 120 VAC power supply to the water heater.
2 Press the DOWN bu on to decrease the water temperature.

Press the UP button to increase the water temperature.
WARNING! Higher temperatures increase the risk of scalding, but even at 120 °F
(50 °C), hot water can scald (See Table 3).
NOTE: You can only increase the water temperature to 125°F. Addi onal steps are
required to increase the temperature above 125°F.

To raise the temperature above 125°F, press and hold the SETTING button for 5 sec-
onds then release. The display will alternately flash A00 and 125°F.
4a Press the SETTING button again. The temperature setting will flash. You can
increase the temperature above 125°F.
4b Press the UP button to set the desired temperature.
4c Press and hold the SETTING bu on to return the display to normal opera on. The
new set temperature will appear in the selected unit
(Example: 130°F).
4d The display should show the updated temperature.
