7 Water heater
7.1 Structure of the water
heater
The water heater has the following main
components:
Tank The water is stored and
heated up in the tank.
Burners The burners (with a pilot
flame) ignite the air and gas
mixture to heat up the water.
Gas control
valve The gas control valve controls
the gas supply to the burners.
