Note that if an unmodified APS is being used, pindication will still appear even if
the main APS signal is disconnected. However the ball will not be scored.
Check that S2-4 is set correctly for your APS type.
6.14
No front desk communications
Check that the unit is set to the correct lane number. Switches 1-5 on S1 set the
lane number. Check that no other unit is set to this number.
Check the cabling from the unit to the front desk. Check that the cable shield is
grounded at one end.
If you are using a COMMS protection board, check that the board is connected to
the ALS board correctly, and that the board is connected to the PC power supply.
If you are using a Magicscore installation, check the I/O card and the connections
to it.
