3.3
Bringing up the Arrows
Once all the bowlers’ names are entered, the arrows must be brought up so that
play can commence. The arrows indicate which bowler should bowl next.
On single keypad systems, Press
L
-
SCORE
, or
R-SCORE
then
BOWLER
then
the bowlers’ position from
1
–
6
. For example
, L-SCORE BOWLER 2
will bring
the arrows up waiting for bowler number 2 to bowl.
On systems with three keypads, press the bowler number from 1-6 on either the left
or right keypads.
The arrows will not appear if the scorer is in practice mode, or if the arrows have
been inhibited by the
Lane Control System
.
Once the names have been edited, and the arrows are up, bowling can commence.
3.4
Removing a Score
At the end of the game, the score should be removed so that another game can
commence. When a score is removed, the names remain unchanged, only the
scores are cleared.
Press
LEFT
or
RIGHT
then
REMOVE-SCORES
.
Note that the
Lane Control System
has the ability to prevent the bowlers from
removing their score.

Clearing a Score
At the end of the bowlers’ last game, the score should be cleared. All names and
scores will disappear.
