5.3

Connecting your 5DT HMD 800 to a Video Source

The 5DT HMD 800 can be connected to VCRs, DVD Players, Camcorders, Game
Consoles or any other external video source. The video adapters can be connected
using either S-Video cables, RCA cables or SCART cables. It is recommended that
the S-video connection be used for optimal video image quality.

To connect using S-Video:

Connect the supplied S-Video cable to the video output source and the 5DT HMD
800 according to Figure 7.

To connect using RCA:

Connect the supplied audio and video cable according to the shape and color of the
video/audio output terminal of the external source. See Figure 7.

To connect using SCART:

a.  Connect the SCART jack to the output terminal of the source as in Figure 8.
b.  Connect the yellow video cable to the video input terminal of the 5DT HMD 800.
c.  Connect the black audio cable to the audio input terminal of the 5DT HMD 800.
