MT4034
Introduction
MT4034 is a cutting-edge camera built-in a eye glass.
You can take pictures, save video fi les with sound, use it
as a webcam in Skype. Files are stored on microSD fl ash-
card, you can download them directly from fl ashcard or
through eye glass connected by USB cable.
Note! Before fi rst use fully charge the device.
Charging
Use included USB cable to plug it into USB port of PC com-
puter. During charging red ON/OFF LED is on, full charging
takes ca. 12 hours. When fully charged CAMERA LED will
be constantly fl ash blue.
Installing microSD card
Put microSD into card slot, note that fl ashcard connection
pins should facing outside of eyeglass.
Switching modes
Press once ON/OFF button, blue CAMERA LED indicator
will be on constantly. Device is now in snapshot mode.
When in snapshot mode every time you press shortly
CAMERA button a picture is taken, and CAMERA LED will
fl ash once to confi rm saving the fi le.
Next press and hold CAMERA button for about 2 sec, blue
CAMERA LED indicator will slowly blinking – video record-
ing is in progress. To stop recording press shortly CAMERA
button, blue CAMERA LED will blink fast 3 times, video fi le
will be saved. Device is now in snapshot mode again.
Next press and hold ON/OFF button for about 2 sec, blue
CAMERA LED indicator will go off . Device is now in off
mode.
Note! If no action is taken within 30 sec from switching
mode the device will automatically go to off mode.
Taking pictures
When device is in snapshot mode press shortly CAMERA
button. Every time you press it the device is saving a pic-
ture on microSD card.
Recording video
When you have switched from snapshot mode to video
mode the device will record video instantly. To stop record
press shortly CAMERA button. To start recording next
video fi le press and hold again CAMERA button for 2 sec
– blue CAMERA LED indicator will be blinking slowly to
confi rm recording next fi le.
Connecting to PC computer
Data storage mode
When MT4034 is in off mode connect it to the PC compu-
ter using USB cable included in package. System will auto-
matically install the device as an USB mass storage device.
You can copy all fi les from device to windows desktop.
Webcam mode
Insert software disk into CD-ROM drive and run driver
installation. When fi nished plug MT4034 to PC using USB
cable and press ON/OFF button. Windows will install new
capture video device. In webcam mode only video is ena-
bled, microphone function is disabled – use external input
audio device for skype calls. Press again ON/OFF button to
exit to data storage mode.
Setting data and time
To set actual date and time you need to copy fi le “TAG.TXT”
to root folder of MT4034 in data storage mode. Copy “TAG.
TXT” from software disc to desktop and edit in windows
notepad. File contains lines as below:

2009/08/24
19:20:00
Modify appropriate lines to actual date and time, save it,
and then copy into root folder of MT4034 in data storage
mode.
Next unplug USB cable and wait until both LED indicator
goes off . Now turn on MT4034 – new time settings will be
applied.
Note! MicroSD card must be installed in MT4034.
Reset
If you encounter strange behavior of the device you can
put straighten paper clip into “reset hole” to restart the
device.
