1 1 . If asked to save the existing files ‘M 1 0 V F. L A N ’ and ‘M 1 0 V F. L D I ’,
cl i ck ‘N o’to ove r w rite them with the new ve rsion from the CD.
1 2 . A screen will appear containing three window s , l abeled “P ro t o c o l s” ,
“Pa ra m e t e rs” , and “B o a rd A c t i o n s” .

HP-UX
You need to be logged on as a root user to install the softwa re.
1 . If the system is alre a dy on, enter s u [E N T E R]. You will be pro m p t e d
for the root passwo rd. O t h e r w i s e, p ower up the system, and enter the
root passwo rd when pro m p t e d.
2 . Place the CD in the CD-ROM drive. We recommend that you use
H P - U X ’s graphical system management interfa c e, s a m ( 1 M ) , t o
mount the CD-ROM drive. To start sam(1M), e n t e r :
